Synthetic Absorbable SurgcolTM
Sterile Braided Coated Synthetic Absorbable Polyglycolic Acid. Violet/Undyed Suture made of 100% Polyglycolic acid and coated with Calcium Stearate and Polycaprolactone which facilitates smooth tissue passage and has excellent knotting and handling properties. It is twice as strong as Catgut of equivalent diameter. It has predicatable absorption by hydrolysis, retains nearly 70% of it's initial tensile srength after 14 days and is completely absorbed between 60-75 days. USP sizes available 2 to 6/0.
